New Starters - Marie Garcia & James Hallewell
As part of Platform Smart’s expansion we are happy to welcome two new starters to the team in July and August. James Hallewell joins as our Management Accountant and Marie Garcia joins as our Internal Communications and Social Media Co-Ordinator.
James Hallewell joins the finance team as our Management Accountant, he will help bolster our process and reporting requirements. James will be taking on a critical role in our month-end controls and bringing a proactive and positive approach to the daily back-office operations.
We have known James for 10 years, and he comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience across the board; from finance process and management reporting to credit control and complex reconciliation. James' previous roles include businesses such as Affini & The AA where he has gained specialised experience in the consulting industry.
In addition to James, we’d also like to welcome Marie Garcia who joins as our Internal Communications and Social Media Co-Ordinator. She will help us with achieving our company objective of ensuring our Associates feel more informed and engaged through our social media channels including Workplace and LinkedIn. Marie is highly driven and keen to build on what is already in place, our plan is to ensure that Platform Smart’s journey in terms of new projects, opportunities and milestones is shared. This will be followed by thought leadership, industry articles and case studies providing insightful content for discussion and consumption.
Internally, we will lead the way in driving content, however we are cognizant that Platform Smart’s Associates are the heart of our business. We want to ensure you feel like you have a voice and a place to share your thoughts on our industry and projects or somewhere you can look for help and guidance on what you are working on.
